Below are some important tips to prepare for a job interview: Research: Do background studies about the company, their objectives, mission and vision statement, what products and services that they sell and what job role you are applying for. Get routes to the desired location: Be prepared with the routes of the location of the office. Find out ways to get there and the transport arrangements to reach the office on time. Also find out the parking arrangements etc. Find out from any of your friends who know about this place. Do not waste time before going to an interview. Dress well: Dress up well for the interview. Wear neatly pressed formals that you are comfortable with. You should not look different from the people working in their organization. Casuals like jeans, t shirts are not acceptable in any companies so kindly avoid wearing it. Practice before you enter the interview hall: It is very necessary to have a practice session with sample answers to the questions asked. There are a lot of common questions available online that you can go through. Practicing in front of the mirror will help you know how your gestures are, your body language. Do not forget to smile and shake hands. Have a pleasant look throughout the interview process. References: Find out three to four people who can refer you and your work as good. These are asked in the interviews or to fill out in the interview sheets. Usually background checks on you happen with these references. That’s a deciding factor to select you. Take necessary documents: By preparing a check list the previous day regarding what all documents that you need to take for the interview is very important. This way you do not miss out on any documents when asked. Make sure which folder has which document so that there is no confusion in the last minute. Speak out: This is a chance to talk a lot about you. Take this opportunity and prove to be the best. Avoid Nervousness: If you feel you are not able to answer the question just pass it. Don’t get nervous and spoil your mood. Relax. Ask the best question of the day: It’s a chance to know more about the organization.
